On 9 July 2026, the Council of the European Union adopted a corrigendum correcting four footnote errors in its Recommendation on the economic, social, employment, structural and budgetary policies of Estonia. The corrections involve two ELI references and one date in footnotes 3, 5, 7, and 14.
Footnote 3 on page 3 now correctly cites C/2026/2434 (OJ C, 28.4.2026), and footnote 5 on page 5 corrects the reference to C/2025/655 (OJ C, 10.2.2025). Footnote 7 on page 5 updates the ELI reference to C/2025/3964 (OJ C, 20.8.2025). Footnote 14 on page 9 fixes the date of the Commission report under Article 126(3) TFEU from "3.62026" to "3.6.2026" (COM(2026) 302 final).
The corrigendum is a technical document that does not alter the substance of the original recommendation, which was adopted earlier in 2026. It ensures the accuracy of legal references and dates for stakeholders, including Estonian authorities and EU institutions, that rely on the document for policy implementation and legal certainty.
