Parliament approved the ECR Group's request to change Monday's agenda by 283 votes to 142 , with 11 abstentions. The change was carried by the EPP, Renew, ECR, PfE and ESN, together with most Non-attached Members; the Greens/EFA, The Left and most of S&D voted against. The procedural motion divided the House along a left-right line, with the right-of-centre and right-wing groups combining to reach a majority while the Greens/EFA and The Left opposed it in full. As a procedural agenda decision it has no wider legal effect, settling only the order and content of the plenary's business. S&D was the only group to split visibly: while most of its members voted against, a small number backed the request, and the Danish Social Democrat delegation broke from the group line entirely.
