Five EU|BIC Excellence Award shortlisted programmes focus on designing projects around people first. The five programmes come from Spain (CEEI Burgos), the United Kingdom (University of Warwick Science Park), Portugal (Instituto Pedro Nunes), Italy (a|cube), and Czechia (MSIC). They will pitch on stage at the EBN Congress 2026 in Trentino on 18 June, with the audience selecting the winner. The Ostrava Expat Centre in Moravian-Silesian Region reported 288 consultations and 68 events in 2024, supporting skilled international professionals to stay in the region. Over the coming weeks, dedicated posts will publish for each programme.
