The Council of the European Union has issued a corrigendum, dated 5 August 2026, correcting two obvious errors in the Hungarian language version of Directive (EU) 2019/130, which amends Directive 2004/37/EC on protecting workers from carcinogens or mutagens. The corrections swap the skin notation remarks for two substances in the table of occupational exposure limit values in Annex III: for 2-nitropropane, the remark "Bőr(10)" (Skin(10)) is replaced with a dash, while for o-toluidine, the dash is replaced with "Bőr(10)" (Skin(10)). The corrigendum was issued under the procedure for obvious errors in one language version, per Council document R/2521/75, and Member States have eight days to submit observations to the Council's Legal Service.
