On 20 May 2025, the Council of the European Union adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/931, a corrigendum correcting two registration numbers in the annex of the EU sanctions list against Russia. The corrections affect entry 61 (tax ID changed from 7808035536 to 7707767484) and entry 671 (tax ID changed from 9715475552 to 5042129453) in the annex of Decision 2014/512/CFSP. The corrigendum applies to all linguistic versions of the Official Journal and was issued under procedure 2(b) for obvious errors. No substantive changes to the sanctions regime are made. Member States have three days to submit observations to the Council's Legal Service.
The correction has negligible impact on stakeholders, as it merely rectifies administrative data without altering the list of sanctioned entities or individuals.
