The Council of the European Union issued a corrigendum on 29 June 2026 correcting the Dutch language version of Directive (EU) 2024/2839, which amends reporting requirements in the fields of food and food ingredients, outdoor noise, patients' rights, and radio equipment. The correction replaces the wording of Article 5(1) in the Dutch text to align with standard legal phrasing, changing the verb from 'stellen' to 'dienen vast te stellen' and adjusting the notification clause from 'stemmen in kennis' to 'stellen in kennis'. This is an obvious error correction under Procedure 2(b) (Council document R/2521/75). Member States have 8 days to submit observations to the Directorate Quality of Legislation of the Legal Service. The original directive, adopted on 23 October 2024, requires Member States to adopt and publish transposition measures by 28 November 2025 and immediately notify the Commission.
