The EU Council's Law Enforcement Working Party (Customs) is scheduled to meet on 14 July 2026 at 10:00 in the Council's LEX Building, Brussels, according to a notice of meeting and provisional agenda published on 6 July 2026. The meeting will adopt its agenda and hear presentations from the Presidency, the Cyprus delegation, the EUCAB Head, the European Commission, the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA), Europol, and the chair of the Horizontal Drugs Group.

Agenda items include information by the Presidency, priorities of the Irish Presidency, and a report on activities in the second half of 2025 presented by Cyprus. Cyprus will also present a report on the former trio presidency (Poland-Denmark-Cyprus) regarding the Strategy for customs cooperation. The Commission will provide a state of play on the Anti-Fraud Architecture. EUDA will present the European Drug Report 2026. A thematic discussion on Customs and Market Surveillance of Nitrous Oxide will involve the Presidency, EUDA, Europol, and the Horizontal Drugs Group chair.

Points 6 to 9 of the agenda include contributions from Europol, Frontex, and the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), with points 8 and 9 also involving EUDA. The meeting is expected to advance customs law enforcement cooperation and address emerging drug-related challenges, including the surveillance of nitrous oxide.
