High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas will travel to Dublin, Ireland, on 9 June for a series of meetings with senior Irish officials, according to a media advisory published by the European External Action Service (EEAS) on the same day. The visit underscores the EU's ongoing engagement with member states on foreign and security policy priorities.
Kallas is scheduled to meet separately with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence Helen McEntee, and Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence Thomas Byrne. In the afternoon, she will hold a joint press conference with Minister McEntee, available on EBS at around 15:40 CEST. Audiovisual coverage of the engagements will be provided on EBS and X.
The trip comes as the EU continues to coordinate its external action on issues such as support for Ukraine, relations with China, and security in the Indo-Pacific.
