The General Secretariat of the Council has requested written comments from delegations on the compromise text for Articles 1, 4 and 5, and related Annexes, concerning Priority Substances in Water. The request, issued on 13 July 2026, gives delegations until 8 March 2024 to submit their remarks to the Presidency and the Commission, with a copy to the Council's Secretariat. The next Working Party on the Environment (WPE) meeting on this topic is scheduled for 26 March 2024, where the Presidency plans to discuss Articles 2 and 3, and related Annexes.
