UNIDO and Madagascar sign five-year industrial development partnership for 2026-2030

"UNIDO and Madagascar signed a five-year Programme for Country Partnership (PCP) for 2026–2030 at UNIDO Headquarters in Vienna. The PCP, UNIDO's flagship model, aims to accelerate Madagascar's industrial development by diversifying the economy, boosting local value addition, and creating decent jobs, especially for youths and women, while advancing green and climate-resilient growth. The agreement, developed at the government's request, seeks to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new ones with the private sector to build a diversified, competitive, inclusive industrial economy under a government-led, integrated strategy."
