On 22 July 2026, the Council of the European Union published a corrigendum correcting an obvious error in the Greek-language version of Decision (CFSP) 2020/1127, which amends the EU's cyber-attack sanctions regime. The correction replaces the name “Алексей Валерьевич МИНИН” with “Алексей Сергеевич МОРЕНЕЦ” in the annex table listing natural persons subject to restrictive measures. The error was limited to the Greek text of entry 4, column “Identity data”, first sentence.
The corrigendum, dated 22 July 2026 and published in the Official Journal L 246 of 30 July 2020, follows the procedure for obvious errors in a single language version. Member States have eight days from publication to submit observations to the Council's Directorate for Quality of Legislation. The correction does not alter the substance of the sanctions regime, which targets individuals and entities responsible for cyber-attacks threatening the EU or its member states. The change ensures consistency across all official language versions of the legal act.
