While progress has been made, fatalities and life-altering injuries remain unacceptable, prompting the industry to adopt holistic approaches like human and organizational performance (HOP) and PSIF. The Worldsteel Day for Safety and Health coincides with the ILO's World Day for Safety and Health at Work, and a new expert group on health and wellbeing will be formed."
