The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has published a data protection notice, dated 30 May 2026, explaining how it processes personal data of network representatives in Agile teams shared via the restricted Network Portfolio website. The notice details the collection and publication of names, professional email addresses, and affiliated National Competent Authorities (NCAs) of Network Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts, aimed at facilitating communication and collaboration within the European Medicines Regulatory Network (EMRN). The processing is based on Article 5(1)(a) of the EUDPR, necessary for EMA's public interest tasks under EU pharmaceutical legislation. Data is retained until the representative's mandate expires and removed within three months after the calendar year end. The notice also identifies data processors: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and Atlassian PTY Ltd, and outlines rights to object and data transfer safeguards.
