The European Medicines Agency (EMA) Management Board, during its meeting of 10-11 June 2026, noted the outcome of two written procedures finalised between 4 March and 3 June 2026. The Board approved the appointment of Eva Otterstad as alternate for the Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP), nominated by Norway, with her mandate starting on 18 April 2026. It also adopted the minutes of its 131st meeting via written procedure, concluded on 28 April 2026.

In addition, the Board received a periodic overview of renewed memberships in the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) and CVMP. Eight renewals were noted: Christophe Focke (Belgium) as CHMP member, Karin Janssen van Doorn (Belgium) as CHMP alternate, Selma Arapovic Dzakula (Croatia) moving from alternate to CHMP member (mandate from 6 June 2026), Spyridon Farlopoulos (Greece) as CVMP member, Paolo Gasparini (Italy) as CHMP member, Knud Torjesen (Norway) moving from alternate to CVMP member, Ewa Balkowiec-Iskra (Poland) as CHMP member, and Simona Badoi (Romania) as CHMP member.
