The Council of the European Union issued a corrigendum on 24 June 2026 correcting the German, Bulgarian, and Italian language versions of Regulation (EU) 2024/3110, which lays down harmonised rules for marketing construction products and repeals Regulation (EU) No 305/2011. The corrections address obvious translation errors in specific articles and annexes, with Member States given eight days to submit observations.

The corrigendum, classified under procedure 2(b) for obvious errors in a number of language versions, applies only to the DE, BG, and IT texts. In the German version, Article 59(1)(c) replaces "Europäischen Bewertungsdokument" with "Europäischen Technischen Bewertung", and Annex X, point 2 replaces "Feuerbeständigkeit" with "Feuerwiderstand". The Bulgarian correction in Annex VII, code 9, product family column replaces a phrase with one that correctly translates to "curtain walling/cladding/structural glazing". The Italian corrections in Annex VII adjust code 2's product family to "doors, windows, shutters, gates and related window accessories" and code 9's to "curtain walling/cladding/structural bonded glazing".

Observations must be sent to the Council's Directorate for Quality of Legislation within the eight-day deadline. The corrigendum does not alter the substance of the regulation, which entered into force earlier, but ensures terminological accuracy in the affected language versions. Stakeholders using the DE, BG, or IT texts should verify that their references align with the corrected terms, particularly for technical assessments and product classifications under Annex VII.
