The EU Delegation to Ukraine has invited regional media representatives from across Ukraine to participate in a two-day training titled "EU: Simply about Complicated. Kropyvnytskyy," scheduled for 9-10 July in Kropyvnytskyy. The training, announced on 23 June 2026, aims to deepen participants' understanding of Ukraine's EU membership path, the negotiation process, EU institutions, and EU-funded projects in Ukraine.

During the training, attendees will learn about Ukraine's reforms and the comprehensive support provided by the EU since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. High-level EU officials and experts on European integration are among the speakers. The event will also include visits to EU-funded projects in Kyiv and the Kropyvnytskyy region.

Registration is open until 30 June at 20:00 via an online form. Participant selection is competitive, and successful candidates will receive confirmation by 2 July. The EU will cover travel, food, and accommodation expenses for participants from other cities. A certificate of completion will be issued.

This training is part of ongoing EU efforts to engage Ukrainian civil society and media in the European integration process, providing practical knowledge about EU structures and support programmes. The initiative targets regional journalists, who play a key role in informing local communities about EU-Ukraine relations and reforms.
