A corrigendum to Council Regulation (EU) 2018/1909, published on 3 July 2026, corrects an error in the Romanian language version of the act, replacing the term "numerele de identificare" with "codurile de înregistrare" in Article 1, points 1 and 2, concerning VAT registration codes for call-off stock information exchange.
The correction applies to the Romanian text of Article 1, point 1 (amending Article 21(2)(c) of Regulation (EU) No 904/2010) and point 2 (amending the introductory wording of Article 21(2)(e)). The original regulation, adopted on 4 December 2018 and published in the Official Journal L 311 of 7 December 2018, introduced rules for the exchange of information to monitor the correct application of call-off stock arrangements. The corrigendum rectifies an obvious linguistic error in the Romanian version, ensuring that the term for registration codes is used consistently.
Member States have eight days from publication to submit observations to the Council's Directorate Quality of Legislation, Legal Service. The correction does not affect the substance of the regulation or its application in other language versions.
