EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas participated in the Kyiv-Manila Strategic Dialogues, co-hosted by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines. The dialogue, held on 28 July 2026, covered security, trade, and migration, exploring ways for the European Union, Ukraine, and the Philippines to support each other as partners committed to a rules-based international order.

The event underscores the EU's deepening partnership with the Philippines and its continued support for Ukraine. Kallas' participation highlights the EU's view that the defence of international law is a common cause for European and Indo-Pacific partners. The dialogue did not announce new policy measures or funding commitments, but served as a platform for strategic discussion among the three parties.
