Based in Brussels, A4E states that it collaborates with policymakers to keep aviation policy aligned with safety, competitiveness, and sustainability, ensuring Europe's connectivity with the world. The association reports a fleet of over 3,800 aircraft and that its member airlines carried more than 798 million passengers in 2025, serving over 2,700 destinations worldwide. Annually, A4E members transport around 4 million tonnes of cargo by freighters or passengers.
