EU foreign affairs ministers will gather in Luxembourg on 15 June 2026 for a Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) chaired by EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, with a packed agenda covering Russia's war against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and EU-China relations, according to a meeting notice published by the European External Action Service (EEAS) on 12 June 2026.

The meeting will begin with an informal videoconference exchange with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, followed by a ministerial discussion on Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. Ministers will then turn to the Middle East, addressing the latest developments in the war in Iran and its regional effects, the critical situation in Lebanon amid ongoing hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, as well as the situations in Gaza and the West Bank. The Council will also review the state of EU-China relations against the current geopolitical backdrop.

In the margins, EU ministers will have an informal breakfast with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan before the FAC begins. After the main session, High Representative Kallas and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty will co-chair the 11th meeting of the EU-Egypt Association Council starting at 16:00.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 10:00 in Luxembourg. Press briefings and media advisories have been issued for the event. The FAC is part of a series of EU foreign policy meetings, following an informal Gymnich meeting on 27-28 May 2026 and an informal defence ministers meeting on 7-8 June 2026. Upcoming FACs are planned for 13 July, 5 October (Defence), and 12 October 2026.

No prior coverage of this specific meeting exists in recent EU Matrix archives.
