"Three leading European events and exhibition associations—EMECA, ICCA, and UFI—announced the formation of the European Events and Exhibition Industry Alliance (EEEIA), expanding the previous EEIA. The alliance will advocate before EU institutions in Brussels, representing exhibitions, meetings, conferences, and related services. Presidents Marta Gomes (ICCA), Elzbieta Roeske (EMECA), and Panittha Buri (UFI) said the move boosts the sector’s voice amid global trade and geopolitical uncertainty."
