On 20 July 2026, the European Commission adopted 14 decisions under delegation procedure, covering merger clearances, marketing authorisations for medicines, and amendments to national security fund programmes. The decisions were taken by the Commission's Secretariat-General under delegated authority.
The package includes two merger clearances under Article 6(1)(b) of the EU Merger Regulation and Article 57 of the EEA Agreement: case M.12488 involving ASTERION, MACQUARIE, and SOUTHERN WATER, and case M.12474 involving TAIFU KECHUANG and PROSPERITY KINGSFIELD. Both were approved without conditions, indicating no competition concerns.
In the pharmaceutical sector, the Commission adopted nine implementing decisions on medicinal products. A new marketing authorisation was granted for "Etcamah - camizestrant", an oncology drug. The orphan drug "ASPAVELI - pegcetacoplan" received renewal of its marketing authorisation. Amendments were approved for seven other products: Voriconazole Accord, Pemetrexed medac, Avtozma, Axura, Wyost, Baiama, and Capecitabine Teva. These decisions affect patients and healthcare providers by ensuring continued access to these medicines.
On internal security, the Commission amended the Internal Security Fund programmes for Greece (CCI 2021EL65ISPR001) and Slovakia (CCI 2021SK65ISPR001), allowing adjustments to spending plans. This supports national authorities in managing security-related expenditures.
Additionally, the Commission ordered recovery of EUR 30,155.65 plus interest from EDITORIAL BERCIMUEL SL under the Education and Culture DG, and adopted a decision under the Communications Networks, Content and Technology DG (DL/2026/5555) concerning case DE/2026/2637 under Directive (EU) 2018/1972.
The decisions were formalised on 20 July 2026 and published in the Official Journal. No further institutional follow-up is required as these are implementing acts under delegated powers.
