- “Thank you, Mr. Chair. I will not take a long time. So you can move to item number seven as swiftly as possible. Now, just to tell you that we we just want to first of all, thank you very much to having conducted this and led this this process, uh, swiftly and purposefully yourself and Mr. Lang and also Mr. Sefcovic. We have, uh, I think now a good provisional agreement. Uh, uh, this was a commitment from our president in her guidelines and also further on the joint declaration by the two presidents, uh, in October, we had to conduct a very thorough assessment, uh, because it was a framework agreement that was dating, uh, 14 years. After 14 years, you have a lot to, to, to change. And I think we got a good, as I said, provisional agreement, uh, and with the, with the very, uh, Thorough and very positive collaboration with, as you mentioned, also the the colleagues from from the parliament and the team. That was we were quite intensively interacting with 19 technical meetings. Uh, I think that the the purpose of this framework agreement is to have a mutually beneficial agreement that allows us to work together while also preserving the institutional balance and in the full respect, of course, of the prerogative of not only the institutions that were directly involved.”

- “So that means the Commission and the European Parliament, but also those that are sort of interested and indirectly concerned by the items that we were touching upon. You mentioned, uh, the article two, two, five. This was, of course, a commitment of also the previous mandate of our president. We indeed managed to codify it and to, I would say, uh, Structure it a bit more. You mentioned the fact that the revoking and amending the legislation. There was also the question of codifying a bit the practices, making a bit more clear what the process is. And also on the top of that, we appreciated very much also the willingness of the Parliament to engage at an early stage of the preparation of this legislative resolution, also with the kind of evaluation of the, the, the, the assessment, the, the burden, expected burden and financial implications, 1 to 2, you also directly led the political outcome, which is, I think, good for both institutions. It brings a lot of more transparency on the on the use of data and clarifies the fact that it is an instrument to be used only in exceptional circumstances. We had also some, some, some improvement in the way when it comes to the rules of procedure of the parliament, uh, affecting the relation between the two institutions, a bit more clarity about how we can make our our contribution to to that.”

- “As I said, when it only comes to the relation between the two institutions, we had also improved the the provision regarding the transparency of the Commission work programme, but also of the legislative and non-legislative files that are decided by the Commission outside the scope of the Commission work programme when there is a need, uh, of course, while respecting the which falls under the Parliament's prerogative, which being legislative or budgetary. So I think that overall, as I said, it was a good, uh, a good work. We worked also on the international agreements. Uh, we worked also on the, uh, on the presence. You mentioned that, uh, Mr. Chair, on both sides. I would say that one of the first outcome of we anticipated a bit. I mean, we see more and more commissioners attending. We have. I think this week, 14 commissioners attending the committees. So we are conveying this. And what is important is what also, Mr. Vince said it is important to have the framework agreement, but it's important also to see to check the the implementation of it and be sure that from our side, we will be fully committed to to implement the provision of this revised and modernized, I would say framework agreement. Thank you very much.”
