“Thank you very much. And thank you very much to the rapporteur for the draft report that we have read with interest. The NLF was subject, as we heard the other time when we were here, to an evaluation that was published in 2022. And many of the issues that are raised in this draft report were also identified in the evaluation, such as definitions of responsibilities of potential new economic operators that deal with the circular economy refurbishes other operators. So that is something that has been identified and that we will, in a potential revision, of course, look into. We also identified the use of a digital product passport that has been mentioned by many speakers here as an essential tool. It has been introduced in a number of legislations already. In April there were trilogues on on two pieces of of legislation that introduced it. So it's for sure going to come in the other ones as well, either the front way or the back way. And we prefer that it's the front way that we can define common rules in the in the new NLF. And the GPP, as was also said, can be really a key instrument for controlling a little bit better the e-commerce problems that we have to be able to know what products with what characteristics that come into the European Union. So to help customers to to stop them when they are not in legal products.”

“So that would also be a very good way to use the DPP. But of course we will need to to do it carefully and in a way that is not bringing obsessive burdens for for the economic operators or stop conforming and good products to get into the EU. Um, when we have, uh, a go ahead for making the next revision. We will, of course, take care, take into account everything that has been in the report and bring it into the discussions and possible proposal on a new NLF. I would only like to point out that many or many a number of subjects that have been discussed here today are a bit outside the NLF. We cannot ensure that all these policies that are very good in themselves are enacted within within the NLF. The VAT, bans on advertising, etc. and also sectoral policies to to promote or ban certain certain habits or ways of doing things we cannot do in the NLF. So we should also be be be careful to not bring expectations that we cannot meet. The NLF is there to create a common framework and a baseline that can be used, as also was said by some, some people speaking here, uh, as uh, as a model for uh, for legislation in the sectors when they are negotiated. Thank you.”
