How positions are measured

One poleWe must completely abandon any policies aimed at supporting energy-intensive industries and remove all subsidies immediately, as they are fundamentally undermining our climate goals and contributing to a global race to the bottom, while fiercely opposing cooperation with any nation that fails to adopt our stringent carbon regulations.
Other poleWe must prioritize the competitive advantage of our energy-intensive industries by fully protecting them through continued financial support and leniency in emissions regulations, ensuring they can thrive in the global market without the burdens of restrictive carbon policies or international trade barriers.
