The Council of the European Union (Foreign Affairs) will meet on 13 July 2026 in Brussels to discuss Russia's war against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and the Black Sea region, according to a notice of meeting and provisional agenda published on 26 June 2026. The meeting, starting at 09:30 in the Europa building, will include an exchange of views with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the war, as well as separate discussions on the Middle East and the Black Sea. A breakfast session on civilian detainees of Ukraine and an EU-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) High-Level Forum on regional security and cooperation are also scheduled. The agenda includes non-legislative activities and current affairs, with the legislative list subject to public deliberation under Article 16(8) TEU. Delegates are required to confirm attendance as soon as possible.
