The European Union and the Republic of Korea will hold the "EU–Korea Digital Partnership: From Vision to Delivery" event from 15 to 17 September 2026 in Seoul, focusing on artificial intelligence, 6G networks, cybersecurity, and standardisation, the EEAS announced on 24 July 2026. The event aims to translate shared digital priorities into concrete collaboration between research, industry, public institutions, and standards organisations.

The three-day programme will include strategic discussions, technical workshops, and collaborative sessions covering AI and data, 6G and AI-native networks, cybersecurity, and standardisation. The event is part of the EU-Korea Digital Days, the flagship event series under the EU-Korea Digital Partnership. Registration is free but requires advance booking.

The initiative seeks to deepen cooperation on strategic digital technologies and foster long-term collaboration between European and Korean stakeholders. Participants from research, innovation, policymaking, industry, and standardisation are expected to attend, with the goal of exchanging perspectives and exploring the latest developments in key digital technology areas.
