The Council of the European Union has issued a corrigendum correcting the Maltese language version of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 on CAP Strategic Plans, replacing the term "approvazzjoni tal-prestazzjoni" (performance approval) with "ikklerjar tal-prestazzjoni" (performance clearance) in six specific locations. The corrigendum, published on 26 June 2026, corrects an obvious error in the Maltese text of the regulation, which was originally adopted on 2 December 2021 and published in the Official Journal on 6 December 2021.

The corrections affect recital (68), Article 48 title, Article 134(3), (5), and (13), and the title on page 130. The change aligns the Maltese version with the intended legal meaning of "performance clearance" as used in other language versions. Member States have eight days to submit observations on the corrigendum to the Council's legal service.

This technical correction does not alter the substance of the regulation, which establishes rules for national CAP Strategic Plans financed by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The corrigendum ensures terminological consistency across all EU languages.
