The Council of the European Union on 15 July 2026 published a corrigendum to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/773, correcting a typographical error in Annex II of the regulation. The error, which appeared in Annex 34, incorrectly referred to 'SECTION 12 BIS' instead of the correct 'SECTION 12 A'. The correction ensures consistency in section numbering within the delegated regulation, which amends Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/980 concerning the reduced content and standardised format of the EU Subsequent Issuance Prospectus and the EU Growth Prospectus.

The corrigendum addresses a minor drafting mistake that could have caused confusion for market participants and regulators applying the prospectus rules. By rectifying the error, the Council maintains the legal clarity and accuracy of the regulatory text, preserving the integrity of the EU's capital markets framework. The original delegated regulation was adopted by the Commission on 4 March 2026 and published in the Official Journal on 15 June 2026.

This technical correction does not alter the substance of the delegated regulation, which aims to simplify and harmonise prospectus requirements for issuers seeking to raise capital in the EU. The corrigendum will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union and will enter into force upon publication.
