The Innovative Advanced Materials Initiative (IAM-I) will hold its 2026 General Assembly on 15-16 April in Lund, Sweden, hosted by Lund University. The event will include site visits to the European Spallation Source (ESS), MAX IV synchrotron, and Tetra Pak, alongside organisational and strategic sessions. A policy session on the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF 2028-2034) will feature Magnus Berggren, Director of WISE and Swedish member of the Technology Council for Advanced Materials, and Carsten Schierenbeck, Head of Unit E3 at DG RTD, European Commission.
The assembly, open to IAM-I members and the public on the second day, will cover the 2026 budget, working group updates, and the 2025 activities report. Full members may register up to two on-site representatives with one voting right; associate members have no voting rights. Online participation is unlimited. Registration closes 3 April 2026.
