“Thank you very much, president. I'm wondering this moral superiority. Why did he get it from? What exactly do you think that you have that's better than us? You know, what's your virtue? What's your added value? What is it that makes you say the extreme right? You know, that's. You know what I'm saying here is we're seeing hatred. It's. I'm sorry, but what we need to put up with here. You know, we want to preserve freedom of expression in a democratic system here. The shield, or what you call a shield is basically slamming doors. And it would put an end to a principle without which we would not have liberty and democracy without freedom of expression. You cannot. You absolutely cannot claim to be living in a democratic system. Look at the facts. Disinformation. You know, what about the mainstream media? Look at what their practices are in our countries. You know, controlling newspapers is a lot easier than controlling networks. Right.”
Disinformation & online freedoms
“Well, I know exactly what it means to be the victim of mass disinformation. I'm a Catalan. You know, look at what happened in terms of the public media, the disinformation. And by the way, RTVE is pretty much doing the same thing with all the Spaniards right now. Anyway, censorship. What was censorship exactly? It was basically when you did not complain about Twitter, when you prevented people from talking about real facts, for instance, about Mr. Biden's son. We're not allowed to talk about that. It's taboo. That is what it is. Now, Elon Musk was much criticized yesterday. But I think basically what we're witnessing is, is freedom.”

“Thank you very much indeed, president. I think that we are mixing up at least three factors in this whole debate. On the one hand, you have got those who ought to have done more politicians I'm talking about. And those who have then to be brought to account for what they failed to deliver. And on top of that, you've got a fairly inexplicable proliferation of fires. And we have got at least ten people who have been detained for having said fires. And we have had many people starting these fires above and beyond climate change. And then you've got the arrogance of the ecologists, who always think that the best solutions are those that they have always thought to apply, and that is that we should seek to have firebreaks and to save the countryside from, from fires. But there are all kinds of bureaucratic hurdles, which means that we've not actually been able to engage in the kind of forest clearance required. Thank you.”

“It's not that people are denying climate change, it's that we are resisting the idea that there's a climate urgency. Rather, this is something that comes in waves, and anything else is just superstition or even propaganda, because the consensus actually is at variance with the science. If we look at some of those who are funding this, this new religion, I mean, it's impossible for us to change the climate on Earth. We have to look at our primary sectors and an industry and not make these impossible demands on them, because otherwise all we're doing is filling the coffers as lucrative business for the elites. And that is why we are seeing a vast campaign of social engineering, which is brutal. But this supposed alleged science has failed to live up to any of its productions. It was the industry in Europe which was behind this ideology. And this is why Cop 30 did not decide on a deadline for phasing out fossil fuels, fortunately. Thank goodness.

“Thank you very much. During the last legislature, this Parliament was very focused on the green agenda. And the Green Deal was going to resolve all our problems. But now, in the next legislature, there is a tacit and implicit recognition that that agenda was completely misconstrued, and it was actually just a burden on competitiveness in Europe and on enterprise in Europe. This omnibus package is not really going to be a panacea either, however, because all it's doing is postponing the problems in India. Nobody actually thinks that the EPP and the socialists are ever really going to get together and put all their disagreements behind them and achieve anything useful. We need more freedom. We need less tax, we need less bureaucracy, less red tape, fewer regulations. And we really need to stop this hyperinflation in legislation. We need to focus on jobs if we want to get to the point on the global scene where we merit which we could aspire to, then we really need to do an awful lot more. Frankly, now it's Kafkaesque, the way the bureaucracy, the bureaucracy is simply escalating in this country, and it's very unedifying. Thank you.”

“Thank you very much. We already warned what the risks were if we closed nuclear power plants and to and we also said that if we depended on renewable energy sources, it would be risky. And unfortunately, events showed that we were right and the electricity grid collapsed, leading to a power outage that led to ten people losing their lives. At least that's the count for now. So it was fatal. It led to a lot of problems. And one person who wasn't trained but appointed by you boasted that actually was impossible for there to be a blackout. And he said this only a few days ago. And now Sanchez's government is trying to brush everything under the carpet and is coming up with lies that it hadn't come up with before. Now, this disaster is because of political agendas that have been promoted, because of ideological fanaticism, and that aren't in line with reality. We've already seen the fruits of the Green Deal, and as always, it's the citizens that pay the bill of your experiments, you sorcerer's apprentices.”
