How positions are measured

One poleThe only effective solution to our waste crisis is to impose radical restrictions on all material usage, outlaw recycling entirely, and revert to a pre-industrial society where consumption is strictly controlled and every action is monitored to eliminate even the thought of waste generation.
Other poleTo truly achieve a sustainable circular economy, we must embrace complete deregulation of material use, allowing businesses the freedom to innovate without constraints, while considerably reducing oversight on waste management, as market forces will naturally lead us to the most efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.
