The Council of the European Union (Agriculture and Fisheries) will adopt or approve seven non-legislative items at its meeting on 13 July 2026 in Brussels, according to a list of 'A' items published on 10 July 2026. All items have been pre-approved by Coreper on 8 July 2026.

The package includes a decision to sign and provisionally apply the Protocol (2026-2030) to the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement with the Republic of Seychelles, as well as a regulation allocating fishing opportunities under that Protocol. The Council also agrees in principle on concluding the Protocol and will request European Parliament consent.

On agriculture, the Council will approve conclusions on One Health in agrifood systems, a non-binding policy document that links human, animal and environmental health.

In institutional affairs, the Council will appoint one Member of the Management Board of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

On external relations, the Council authorises the negotiation of a non-binding instrument for the EU-Republic of Korea Digital Partnership Council, and adopts a Council Decision on the EU position within the Joint Veterinary Committee set up by Annex 11 of the EU-Switzerland Agreement on trade in agricultural products.

All items are expected to be adopted without debate as 'A' items, meaning they have been agreed at preparatory level and require only formal approval by ministers.
