Parliament approved the joint text on air passenger rights by 646 votes to 12 , with 3 abstentions, in a near-unanimous third-reading endorsement. Every political group backed it: the EPP, S&D, Renew, Greens/EFA and The Left recorded no votes against, while the handful of dissenting votes and abstentions came from within the ECR, ESN, PfE and the non-attached. This vote confirms the text jointly agreed by Parliament and the Council under the ordinary legislative procedure. As the conciliation-stage approval of a joint text, it clears the file to become binding EU law, settling the rules on passenger rights across the different groups with a broad consensus. The breadth of support leaves little room for a cleavage story: the political centre and both flanks lined up together, and the outcome was never in doubt.
