Jordan and the European Union will co-host the Jordan-EU Investment Conference 2026 on 19 November 2026 at the Dead Sea, under the patronage of King Abdullah II and with the participation of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, according to a joint statement published on 17 June 2026 by the EU Delegation to Jordan. The conference aims to showcase Jordan's investment environment and strategic location, focusing on sectors such as renewable energy, clean technologies, digital economy, manufacturing, logistics and infrastructure.

The event builds on the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership launched in January 2025, which is backed by a €3 billion EU financial and investment package for 2025–2027. The conference will bring together senior government officials, investors, financial institutions and business leaders from both sides. Flagship projects including the Aqaba–Amman Water Desalination and Conveyance Project and the Aqaba Digital Hub will be highlighted as examples of Jordan's potential as a regional gateway.

Jordan's Minister of Investment, Dr. Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, said the conference translates the partnership into concrete opportunities, giving European investors confidence to scale their presence. European Commissioner for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Šuica, called Jordan a key partner and a vital bridge between Europe and the Middle East, adding that the conference aims to unlock new investment, support innovation and create jobs.
