The Council received on 29 May 2026 a corrigendum from the European Commission, adopted on 28 May 2026, correcting a technical error in the Annex of Commission Delegated Regulation (C(2026) 774 final) of 13 February 2026, which supplements Regulation (EU) 2024/3110 on construction products. The error concerns the definition of a smoke production parameter in part A of the Annex: the original text used the abbreviation “HRRsm60” (heat release rate) instead of the correct “SPRsm60” (smoke production rate). The corrigendum replaces “HRRsm60” with “SPRsm60” in the description “TSP1200, m2 total smoke production (SPRsm60) from test start until end of test”. No other changes were made. The delegated regulation establishes classes of performance for the essential characteristic “reaction to fire” under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 2024/3110. The corrigendum ensures that the technical parameter for total smoke production is correctly referenced, aligning the text with standard fire-testing terminology.

The correction has no impact on the classification system itself or on the obligations of manufacturers, notified bodies, or market surveillance authorities. The corrigendum was transmitted to the Council as document C(2026) 3731 final and is now part of the legislative record.
